AlloClae Overview

02 // How We Do It

AlloClae is a nonsurgical outpatient procedure that can be performed in-office with local anesthesia.

03 // Why You Want It

You want to add volume or fill in hip dips, dimples and contour irregularities without undergoing a round of liposuction.

04 // Recovery Time

No liposuction, no scarring, minimal downtime. You can resume normal activities in just 24 hours.

Volume on Demand

What if you could add volume to the hips, breasts and buttocks without going under the knife? AlloClae, the world’s first off-the-shelf structural adipose filler, makes that possible, using donor-derived fat to enhance your body contours with no liposuction, no surgery and little to no downtime. It undergoes a sophisticated multi-step purification process to remove any genetic components that could trigger an immune response while preserving essential proteins, adipocytes and growth factors, keeping its extracellular “fat matrix” intact. AlloClae integrates seamlessly with your tissues to add volume that looks and feels completely natural.

AlloClae With Dr. Hakimi

AlloClae is specifically designed for the body and behaves just like natural adipose tissue wherever it is injected. It can add volume in areas where you want subtle enhancement or projection, making it a great option for age-related fat loss, asymmetries, hip dips and precision shaping. The treatment process is a lot more straightforward than traditional fat transfer and is performed in-office using local anesthesia, requiring no pre-surgery prep or liposuction.

After assessing your concerns and desired results, Dr. Hakimi uses a specialized cannula to strategically inject AlloClae into key areas, such as the breast, buttocks, hips or hands. The entire process takes 30-60 minutes, depending on your individual treatment plan. Afterward, you’ll be able to return home and resume all normal activities with little to no downtime.

After Your Procedure

01 // Results

You’ll notice an immediate improvement after your treatment, with results that continue to refine as any residual swelling subsides and the donor fat integrates with your natural tissues. Thanks to the stability of AlloClae’s structure, it has a very low resorption rate, so you can expect to retain 90% of the injected fat (with traditional fat transfer, 30-50% may be lost). The volume you see after your treatment can be maintained for years with a healthy diet and lifestyle.

02 // Recovery

With traditional fat transfer, patients have to be mindful of two treatment areas: the donor and recipient sites. In comparison, AlloClae is minimally invasive and performed using small incisions, which means less discomfort, fewer activity restrictions and a quicker recovery. At most, you may experience mild swelling and bruising, but this should resolve quickly in the days following your procedure. You can resume your normal routine within 24 hours, and Dr. Hakimi will provide detailed aftercare instructions to optimize your healing and results.

Ideal Candidates for AlloClae

AlloClae is an innovative treatment option for both men and women who want subtle volume to the hips, buttocks or breasts without the need for surgical fat harvesting. At Hakimi Plastic Surgery, the patients who request this treatment most often are those who:

  • Are on the lower end of the BMI scale (<25) for fat transfer
  • Want to ‘fill in’ small dips, dents or contour irregularities
  • Prefer more subtle volume enhancement
  • Are interested in a nonsurgical BBL or hip dip treatment
  • Want to fine-tune key areas without a second round of lipo

While AlloClae won’t provide the same amount of volume as a BBL or traditional fat transfer, it can be an excellent option for the right person. During your consultation, Dr. Hakimi will assess your needs, treatment goals and anatomy to determine if AlloClae might be appropriate for you.

FAQ

Is AlloClae Safe?

AlloClae is an FDA-cleared structural adipose filler made from donor fat, ideal for adding volume to specific areas. The donor fat is sterilized and goes through a multi-step process to remove any living cells or DNA that could trigger an immune response. The risks associated with AlloClae are similar to those of other injectable treatments, including bruising, swelling and temporary soreness, along with lumps or contour irregularities if not distributed evenly.

Where Can AlloClae Be Used?

AlloClae is specifically designed for the body. As a structural adipose filler, it is “too big” and bulky to be used for facial contouring. At Hakimi Plastic Surgery, we most commonly use AlloClae for adding subtle volume to the buttocks, filling in hip dips, and smoothing out breast contours. It can also be used to minimize visible veins or tendons in the hands, reduce the appearance of cellulite dimples and correct asymmetries throughout the body.

Is AlloClae a Good Substitute for a BBL?

When we say AlloClae can be used for a “nonsurgical BBL,” we mean that it can add a little bit more volume or projection in the buttocks. While it is a great off-the-shelf option for nonsurgical enhancement, it won’t provide the same results as a typical BBL, which might place 500-1,200 ccs of fat in each buttock. In contrast, AlloClae adds about 12.5-50 ccs of fat per syringe.

Will My Body Reject AlloClae?

AlloClae is highly biocompatible with your body’s natural tissue. The purification method removes any DNA or genetic material that could cause rejection while preserving beneficial components. Your body treats AlloClae like its own tissue, integrating it through normal healing processes rather than recognizing it as foreign material.

What Makes AlloClae Different from Fat Transfer?

Traditional fat transfer requires liposuction to harvest fat from your own body. AlloClae eliminates this requirement by using ready-to-use processed donor tissue. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia in about 30-60 minutes with minimal downtime. AlloClae is particularly beneficial for patients who don’t have sufficient fat for harvesting or want to avoid the more invasive aspects of liposuction and body contouring.

Will I Need Routine Injections to Maintain My Results?

No, once AlloClae integrates with your tissues, the results are long-lasting and can even be considered permanent when paired with a healthy lifestyle. If new asymmetries occur or you lose weight, touch-up treatments can be formed to maintain or enhance your contours.
